Deathwish Sessions

DEATHWISH took shape in mid 2025 at Unleash The Sound, our home base and the studio run by our bassist and producer Matze Schmitt. The sessions were focused and stripped down, aiming for a harder, more modern edge without losing the raw character the band is built on. For the first time, we brought in a classical singer for the chorus to widen the contrast inside the track without softening it. The artwork is hand-drawn by our guitarist Basti Kraus. It’s intentionally rough, built upon a distorted face that hints at pain more than it describes. It mirrors the sound of the song: direct, restrained, and shaped by tension rather than polish. The lyric video follows the same approach, keeping everything tactile and imperfect.
