DISORDER REMAINS took shape in 2019 at Unleash The Sound, the studio run by our producer Matze Schmitt. The sessions leaned toward a raw, unpolished approach that pushed the material closer to its harsh core while keeping everything tight and functional. Shortly before hitting the studio, Kilian Heck left the band and Basti Kraus joined as the new guitarist, contributing a few final elements as the album was being completed.
The artwork was fully hand-drawn by our guitarist Basti and was built around a clear concept: each song is represented by a symbol and an object that merge into the final cover. The accompanying artbook expanded this idea with additional drawings and lyric-based imagery. The design reflects the character of the music and marked the foundation of Betrayal’s new visual identity.
